Nabe 19, also known as Improved Nambale Long Bean, is a high-yielding, disease-resistant bush bean variety. Its long, red-mottled seeds are highly marketable and suitable for home consumption. The variety is adapted for both smallholder and commercial farmers, delivering reliable yields even under challenging conditions. This is a bush type (indeterminate bush) variety, Highly Palatable and market-class quality. It is a large-seeded plant with a kidney-shaped seed and Red mottled colour. Maturity (60-70 days), Yield potential: 800-1000 kg/Acre. It is resistant to anthracnose, BCMV, ALS, and tolerant to most other bean diseases. Year of release: 2012
